Lexus is one of the few premium and luxury car companies in Japan that produces prestigious cars. At first Lexus cars were created specifically for the American market, in order to represent exclusively luxury models of the Toyota brand under his name, but with time Lexus became its own brand and also a subsidiary of Toyota Motors Corporation. The Lexus GS Model is classified as a sports sedan
The Lexus GS is an “upper mid-range” premium sedan with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. This car combines the qualities of an executive car and some of the makings of a sports car. It is aimed at wealthy buyers who pay special attention not only to the level of comfort and richness of equipment but also to driving performance.
The first GS appeared in 1993. Despite this, for the domestic market in Japan, its production started back in 1991 (under the name Toyota Aristo). In 2005, after another “change of generations”, the car got hybrid polyethylene. The second-generation premiered at the end of 1997. The third-generation Lexus GS debuted in 2005. The fourth-generation was released in 2012.
At the present time, the Lexus GS is a car with good demand but there is a lot of room for deeper market penetration, a good challenge for Lexus.
